October = Russell Fork

Everyone knows that October foliage is best enjoyed at the Russell Fork.

Remember...It's always sunny in Elkhorn City, KY!

I'll also be participating in a multi-sport adventure race called the Russell Fork BADDLUN.
It's pretty intense. Check it out.

Gauley Animal Race 2010

Gauley Animal Race was last weekend. The race is long, the rapids big and the head 2 head competition is FIERCE! That's why we love it.

West Trip 2010

We had the opportunity to travel to Utah, California, Idaho and Montana this summer to kayak, mountain bike and climb. I've been wanting to paddle California's smooth granite bedrock drainage's ever since i started kayaking 13 years ago...finally i got my chance.

Was it all i hoped for?

Yep...it was all that and a toasted everything bagel with egg salad. AKA: amazing.

The mountain biking and climbing wasn't half bad either.

Jerry's BADDLE

I participated in my first multi-sport adventure race last weekend in Asheville, NC.

It was a 5 mile class V paddle and then a 26 mile road ride. There was PAIN.

Jerry's BADDLE has raised over $35,000 for ALS research and over $11,000 for the Green River Access Fund. Great stuff!

The only pic...at least it's a good one!
